Overview:
Scorpion Harbor is a fantastic place for kayaking. The water is clear, and you can see over 15 feet below the surface in most spots. The water is warm, and relatively sheltered in this location. You can explore many caves and rocks just a short paddle from Scorpion Harbor

Directions:

Not applicable

Facilities:
It's a short walk from the beach to a campground that has water and pit toilets

Amenities:
Campground. Not much else. You need to bring all of your own gear and food.

Cautions:
While Scorpion Anchorage is in the lee of the prevailing North Westerly winds and swell, caution must stil be exercized - especially during Santa Ana wind conditions, or around the points which generally have more pronounced currents and wave action.
