Put-in information for Foster City Public Boat Launch State of California

Suggested By Kayak Foster City

Overview: The Foster City Boat lagoon is a peaceful place to paddle year round. It is sheltered, you are always close to shore, and it's a good place to take the family and look at the expensive Real-Estate bordering the shoreline (Almost every square inch of the land bordering the water is private property).

Directions: From San Mateo: take CA-92 E toward San Mateo Bridge/Hayward. Take the exit toward Foster City Blvd. Turn left at Metro Center Blvd. Turn right at Foster City Blvd.

Parking: Parking is Free

Facilities: There is a dog park nearby with bathrooms and water.

Amenities: This item has not been created yet. Click Here to make the first entry.

Cautions: The usual kayak precautions should be taken. It can get pretty windy here in the afternoon. Watch out for novice windsurfers.

Kayak Fishing Info: Hi, I have some questions and hoping someone can help me. I have my own kayak and I like to know if I need permit to do kayaking. If so, I like to know where is the loading area for the kayak to get to the water? Thank you in an advance for your help :)
