Ventana El Conquistador De Montanas Tandem Mountain Bike

I’m selling my Ventana El Conquistador De Montanas Tandem Mountain Bike. I designed it to be bomb proof, but as light as possible. I selected lightweight parts for areas that were not subject to tandem stresses, and bomb proof parts for places that are highly stressed by tandems. Bombproof parts you get are: Magura Gustav M brakes (the ONLY tandem approved brakes). Sun Bib Mammoth Fat Rims (3 cross, 14 guage spokes, brass nipples), Chris King Tandem Hubs (with stainless steel casette body). SRAM 990 Cassette (specifically selected because it has 5 arms in its spider (as opposed to 4 for Shimano XTR. Also selected due to it’s wide mating interface with the cassette body). Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 1 Fork (It’s a little heavy, but it is bomb proof with coil springs, and stainless steel stanchions. You can fine tune it with air (only needs ~10psi, so no risk of air leaks common in high pressure systems). The rest of the bike is subject to normal riding forces - as you would experience on a single bike - so I got light parts for those elements: Monkey Light Handlebar, Easton Stem, Thomson Seatpost (Stoker... Captain has a stronger, heavier post because stoker bar is connected). WTB Titanium rail saddle captain, Ti-rail Butter fly saddle stoker. Shimano XT derailluers and shifters throughout. Spare Brake pads and spare derailluer hanger included! Every single part on this tandem mountain bike has been carefully selected, and performs flawlessly. You will be very impressed. The captain portion of the bike is Large (~19”), and the Stoker portion is Medium (~17”). For reference, I’m 5’10, and my stoker is 5’6, and it fits us perfectly. This bike is well loved, and will treat you well.

I'm selling a few different stems. All have 1 1/8" diameter at the steerer tube, and all have the 25.4 bar clamp diameter. The longest one is 150mm with ~10 deg rise.

Medium one is 140mm with ~ 10 deg rise.

Short one has already been sold.

Here are the bike computers I have for sale. Pictured are the heads. I have harnesses (wires / mounts / magnets) for each one. Please let me know which one you are interested in.

Cateye Enduro2 - this one is a little scratched, but it works great. Have wire, battery and magnet, and mount. A great complete computer. $12

Avocet 30 - Head and harness. I don’t have a battery for it, but it works great. $10. Great little computer. Tells speed, average speed, max speed, time, and odometer

Trek Fusion - This computer works great, and is in very good condition, I have the harness, mount, etc. Battery included: $15.

Trek Radar - A great computer with lots of features, and nice display. Works Great, but you have to push the left button really hard. Reports the temperature. No battery. Harness, mount, etc included $5 (low price because of button issue).

Cateye Enduro 8 - This computer is in great condition, and good for mountain biking (has a thick wire). Comes with harness/mount, magnet. Includes everything you need except CR2032 battery. $15

Vetta C-15 Head and harness. Works great, No Battery is included $5.

Sigma Sport BC1400 Wireless Bike Computer - Wireless, and comes with 1 wireless mount, and one wired mount (so you can put it on two bikes) and sensor and magnet. Batteries are included for the wired mount. $15. A great deal on a wireless bike computer - no batteries for the wireless sensor.

Supergo Computer (not pictured) - Complete set, small, permanent black spot on screen. Works fine, or good for parts. No battery. $5.00

Cateye Strada Wireless (not pictured) - Complete Set. Batteries included Hardly used. $35.

Performance Neoprene Gloves Large
