The plan is:

Mountain
Biking on the Fort Ord Trails on Saturday (Starting at 10:30 AM at the
Reservation Road Entrance).

After riding, we will
camp / hang out at Veteran's Memorial
Park. (starting ~4PM)

Sunday will be a waterfront paddle of Cannery Row and the
Aquarium. (starting ~10:00 AM)

If you wish to come
early, I will be selecting site(s) and camping at Vet's memorial on
Friday night too!

Thanks to Greg for
pointing out that the swell may be too big for safe kayaking in the
ocean this weekend. To be safe, we are going to observe the
threshold set by Monterey Bay Kayaks. They say that if the swells
are over 10 feet, they won't rent. Click

To
get to the reservation road entrance of Fort Ord, Drive down Reservation
Road from either end. From the East end of Reservation road, head
South on Portola Road for about 0.25 miles.. Parking is at a
dead end along this road under some pine trees near a trail head marker and
a gate.
