So, you have two activities on Garmin Connect and you would like to combine them into one single file. That is easy and FREE with GOTOES GPS Merge tools. You can directly link your Garmin Connect Account to GOTOES and merge your Garmin GPS activities directly via GOTOES. Here is the link to the tool to merge GPS Files directly from Garmin Connect.
Step 1:
First, you will need to create a new account on GOTOES. If you already have a GOTOES account, please skip to step 4. IF you need a new account, continue with this step by entering your email address and creating a new password.
Step 2:
You should get an email that asks you to verify your email address. To make your account work, you must click that link. Also, the link expires after about 15 minutes, meaning that if you don't click the link within that time, you will have to re-create the account.
Step 3:
After you click the link, you should get the green bar indicating that your account is now active. If you waited more than 15 minute to click the link, you will get a message that your token expired. This means you need to start over.
Step 4:
You should now log into your account using the password and email that you supplied. At this point, you should connect GOTOES to your Garmin Account.
Step 5:
You can now go to the tool to merge Garmin Files.
**IMPORTANT - Because of Garmin's security policy, GOTOES can only see activities that you uploaded to Garmin AFTER making the GOTOES-Garmin connection. This means that when you first go to the tool after linking your Garmin account, the table will be empty. Screenshots for the next steps are from an account that already has activities loaded. Check the boxes for the activities you want to merge:
Step 6:
On the next page, you can adjust any desired settings... and then click the big blue button to combine your Garmin Files. You can check the box to send the files directly to Strava... or if that box is left unchecked, you can just download the merged Garmin GPS file to your computer or mobile device.
