Some Users have reported that Garmin Connect does not respect their elevation adjustments - even after repairing the elevation data using GOTOES tools. The solution to this problem is easy. First, go to your activity in Garmin Connect, and click on the little gear icon:

Click on the Gear to get this menu, and then select the option to "Change Elevation Source"
Click on the Gear to get this menu, and then select the option to "Change Elevation Source"

If the total ascent or total descent that you had edited on GOTOES is not showing properly, you will probably see that Garmin has auto-selected "Professional Survey Data" - just go ahead and change it to "Your Device." Then click "Save." This will fix the issue.

Change the elevation source to "Your Device" to fix the issue.
