A user approached me with the issue that his Peloton does not produce "laps" for his structured Training Peaks workouts.

He was doing intervals with well-defined power peaks and asked if I could add a feature that would "Auto Generate Laps based on Power changes".

Below is an example of his data on GOTOES:

So, I added a feature called "auto lap" that gives the user 3 options for creating laps in their GOTOES exports:

Once you click the auto lap link, a window will open, allowing you to specify how the auto lap is created:

User control panel for auto lap.
User control panel for auto lap.
  1. By Distance - you can specify the distance for each lap. Time will be calculated and laps will be placed.
  2. By Time - you can specify the duration of each lap. Distances will be calculated and laps will be placed.
  3. By power - This is a work-in-progress. I will need more data to eventually adjust my algorithm, and I may also eventually allow the user to specify the various thresholds to look for in determining when a lap should be placed.
Please provide feedback and sample files. Perhaps you have different auto-lap needs or ideas. IF so, please contact me with a feature request so I can improve the tools for you.
