I am having trouble combining two .tcx files. But I am not sure what the problem is.

There are two files (see attachment). Both have position, elevation, heart rate and calorie data.
From file 1 I want heart rate and calorie data, and from file 2 I want position, elevation data (the position data on file 1 stopped working part way through recording)

Depending on which options I select I get various different "wrong" results.

Is there an issue with what I am trying to do?
What more information should I give so I can get help?

Ok I have maybe got this to work but uploading both separately to Strava, and exporting them both as .gpx instead of .tcx, then combining.
The calories is not right, but the distance and heart rate I think are right.

Hi and sorry for the delayed reply. I was on a bikepacking trip. Sounds like you figured it out, so I just wanted to add that if you select "TCX" or "FIT" as the export option from the tool (i.e. not the input, but the actual export that you send from my tool to Strava), the Calories ought to show up correctly in Strava. If you export as GPX from the tool, calories can not be embedded.

I am trying to do the same again but I am getting the same issue. The solution I found last time doesn't seem to work now either. Can anyone help?
