I have been using the Blue "Edit Points + View Map / Charts" button.
It does not seem to be flagging stray points, but that is likely because there are too many. I don't know what actually happened on that ride but if you look at the file you can see very clear straight line sections but there are ...

How do I fix a GPS track with massive location / GPS outliers and straight-line jumps? [Solved]
I have been trolling through my data files and have several older FIT files that used a Wahoo Bolt or an old Edge computer. I see some errant GPS points/sections and I can't quite figure out a good way to remove them.
Could you have a look at the attached FIT file?

Re: Synchronizing Insta360 Camera with GPS Track.
Thanks for the detailed and quick response.
I just tested it, and so far, so good! The insta360 *.fit file IS syncing up with my video now after changing the timestamp.
You're awesome, thank you!

Re: Synchronizing Insta360 Camera with GPS Track.
To be more clear:
I'm uploading a *.fit file from my Garmin Edge Explore 2. At first, I didn't have the option to export as a *.fit file, so I was choosing *.gpx (Insta360 Studio only supports .fit and .gpx).
The *.fit file contains power and cadence data that the *.gpx does not. At least, it won ...

Synchronizing Insta360 Camera with GPS Track [Solved]
Hi, I discovered your tool through a YouTube video showing how to sync Garmin data with Insta360 footage. I tested it with a .gpx file first to make sure it worked well, and it did; the data and video sync'd after adding in the offset. I then donated $10 to get access to exporting files as .fit, but ...

How to prevent Multisport Files from being split on Strava [Solved]
Hi! I'm trying to upload a Garmin Fenix 7 Pro multisport FIT file (triathlon) to Strava as a single activity, instead of having Strava split it into separate swim, bike and run activities. My workflow is: Record the race as a multisport activity on my Garmin Fenix 7 Pro. Open the original FIT file ...

Re: How To Fix Stryd Dropouts
First let me explain more clearly.
The pod starts recording with movement. In my case, a couple minutes before I start running.
After a short walk, I start my run.
Sometime during the run, the pod disconnects from the watch which causes a crash in the Stryd data-field for Garmin.
To fix that crash ...

How To Fix Stryd Dropouts
I can't control when the Stryd starts and stops. It just starts recording when my foot starts moving and stops the same way. And I walk to where my run starts and then walk back so there's no way to line them up. I was hoping the timestamps would fix that but maybe somehow Stryd and my watch are ...

Ride is jumbled after merge.
We are working on a ride from Ohio to Wash DC and have each days file completed. The files look good in Strava and Garmin. Some of the files join perfectly, but two jumble up and go from less than 100 miles each to thousands of miles. Another two files join out of order and create an added straight ...

Elevation Spikes making Virtual Rides Difficult.
One of the cool features of a virtual riding platform such as Rouvy is that anyone can create a virtual ride from the video footage and GPS track of an activity. The problem though is that the final quality of the virtual route depends pretty much on the quality and accuracy of the GPS data used. We ...

I'm not sure if this is on your side of Strava's but my Fenix 3 activities (correctly identified as such in your tool) show up simply as Fenix on Strava. This happens with both .gpx and .tcx formats. Thanks for your time and work!

Hi, Thanks for the tool. It works great. Just a heads up about a possible bug. I selected 'Garmin Forerunner 645 Music' from the 'GPS Type in Output File' drop down box. Selected file output is GPX. Strava thinks that the selected GPS type is 'Garmin Forerunner 45' Cheers.
