How to add MTB Dynamics Grit, Flow, and Jumps to Strava : SOLVED

Post by m771401 »

Not sure if this would be a feature request or if I missing something.
I have a Fenix 7x and an Edge 130. I'm attempting to merge the data between the two devices.

It looks like MTB Dynamics (specifically jumps) recorded by the Edge device is not appearing in the merged file once I upload it to Garmin Connect.
As well the MTB Dynamics from the Fenix (Grit and Flow) are also missing from the merged file.

Would it be possible to have MTB Dynamics supported in the near future?

Re: MTB Dynamics on Garmin Edge devices

Sorry, I forgot to reply to this... but back in February 2023, I did add the MTB Dynamics to the exported FIT files. Not only that, but I even adapted a way to show the jumps on Strava. It's a little crude (shows in the activity description)... but I may mess around with how it works in the future if people provide feedback as to how it could be displayed better in Strava.

Anyway, here is a post that talks all about how to add Grit / Flow / Jumps to Strava.
