Step 1: Find the files or folder
Open File Explorer and navigate to the files or folder you want to send.
To select more than one item:
- Hold Ctrl while clicking individual files.
- Use Shift to select a continuous group of files.
- You can also put everything into one folder and ZIP the entire folder.
Step 2: Create the ZIP file
Right-click one of the selected items and choose:
Compress to ZIP file
Right-click the selected files and choose “Compress to ZIP file.”
Windows will create a new file ending in .zip in the same folder.
Type a descriptive name for the ZIP file and press Enter.
For example:
