ABI Chromatogram sorting made easy.
To run the program, simply drop a FOLDER full of chromatograms onto the program icon. The program will prompt you to specify the number of high quality sequence bases you want to use as the cut-off to distinguish between High Quality sequences, and Low Quality sequences. For example, if you want to select just the runs with 600 or more high quality bases, set the cut-off at 600. In a few seconds, the program will create two folders within this folder - one labeled GOOD, and one labeled BAD. In the GOOD folder, you will find every chromatogram that contained at least 600 good bases. In the BAD folder, you will find all of the chromatograms that had fewer than 600 good quality bases.
