Mac Sequence View
With This program, you simply drag and drop your .AB1 files onto the program icon. In seconds, the program will generate a quality report which will open in your browser window. You can sort each column by clicking the header. You can open your DNA sequence files by clikcing on the DNA sample name. You can export FASTA files, and we even provide you with quick links to programs like BLAST and VecScreen. The free trial of this software is full featured, except that it only lets you analyze 5 DNA Sequence files at a time.
Sifter
This program will allow you to sort your good DNA chromatograms from your bad ones. Simply drag a FOLDER full of chromatograms onto the program icon. You will be prompted to select the number of "high" quality bases that you want to use as the threshold for sorting. In a few seconds, your folder will contain two folders - one called GOOD, and one called BAD. The appropriate DNA chromatograms will have been moved into the correct folders
ABI Comments Changer
Have you ever wished that you could change the comments field in your DNA sequence files? If so, you will find that it is pretty much impossible - unless you have this program. Simply drag one (or several) .AB1 files onto the program icon. The program will prompt you for a new comment to apply to the DNA sequence file. You can change a batch of chromatograms, or just one
