merging 2 gpx files

hello !
my name is Christophe, 55, living in France. running marathons, mountain biking and trekking with my wife during holidays.
at the end of the week, we will be in the french alps for a trek around pralognan
i need to merge 2 files (in the joined zip), but impossible. i've an error message "empty files"
excuse me for my poor english,
if somebody can help me, i'll be grateful !

Hi Christophe. I downloaded your files and examined them. These look like "route" files instead of "activity" files. The difference between a route and an activity is that an activity has time-stamps; routes only have the GPS position points (i.e. location). So, if you really want to join those files, you could use my Add Time Stamp Tool to "fake it" or you could see if you can download the files from a GPS device that also recorded the timestamps.
