Garmin Upload and Badges

Hi,
I'm using your tools to upload activities on Garmin when I use Technogym bikes: for some reason, the Strava file created by Technogym - and also the one uploaded on Trainingpeaks - doesn't work with Garmin (it says the file is corrupted).

I have two questions:

1. have you discovered how Garmin checks whether an activity is registered by a Garmin device? Any activity uploaded from the "outside" doesn't count on badges and challenges, for example. Is there a way to use your tool to make these activities count for badges?
2. Is there a way to use your tool to make these activities count for Training Status?

When you use GOTOES, be sure to specify a Garmin Device and Serial Number.
