Derive speed from cadence and distance on stationary?
I have an old stationary bike that doesn't export data at all. I'd like to add a cadence sensor and use my Bryton S810 to track my rides. I'd essentially have only heart rate, cadence and I'd manually enter the distance displayed on the bike. Is is possible to derive the speed, based on the duration, cadence and distance of the ride?

You can supply a distance, but Strava might override the values for indoor workouts. To overcome that you can use the "fake track" feature. This feature makes a GPS circle in the ocean (in your time zone) so Strava has some actual points to process. Moreover, you can use the "override distance" to set the distance traveled. NOTE: You will want to export from GOTOES as FIT For this to work reliably; Strava is known to override distances supplied in TCX files.
If you use this technique, the speed will be automatically calculated based on the the duration.. but it will be a flat line (i.e. average).
Once you do this, you can check the boxes to include the heart rate and cadence from your original file... so you have one, complete file with speed, distance, heart rate, and cadence.
