Manually created activity not showing correctly in Strava Heat Map.

Post by GotoesUser »

I recorded a run using Apple Watch activity app on Monday. GPS failed to save the route (but did save distance, time and heart rate). I exported a manual route (GPX) and then used your tool to add timestamps; then merged with original workout file (GPX). After a few tweaks, I finally got this to work...I can see the map and other data in the new workout. However, this workout isn't showing up on the athlete heatmap, except for small traces of dots vs. full line. Does that make sense? Seems the conversion/merger isn't quite working right.

The merger is working; the issue is with the activity you drew - it only has a few points. You can redraw the track using a tool that includes a higher point density... or you can select the "Interpolate Track (add points)" option.
