Deleting the distance of the straight line between 2 merged file

Thanks for this very good tools .
My problem : when I merge two files which don't perfectly follow each other ; the distance between them isadded in the total distance . I did not find how to eliminate it .
It would be nice if you could solve my problem ; thanks

Hi there - there is a post on this topic already; but you want to select the “ignore big gaps” option. You will want to specify the distance or time gap that should be ignored.

As a side note, with regard to the single, straight line: Most fitness software/apps like Strava will ALWAYS show activities as a single line (without breaks). I discuss that here:
