Elevation Problem on Zwift

Post by igorbastos »

Hello!

I'm having troubles with the elevation when I merge two .FIT files, one from Zwift and one from Garmin 235.

I don't know the reason but the real elevation gain is like 185m and after merging it goes to 6.900m :o :o :o .

I'm using Elite Suito T as trainner.

Thank you,
Igor

When you merge the files, are you selecting one or two elevation streams? If you select two for overlapping files, this will surely cause that type of result. Just select one in that case. If
You already are selecting one elevation steam, that means that Strava is recalculating your elevation. Try changing the GPS type to Zwift. If that doesn’t work, try selecting a GPS type that has a barometer in it such as Garmin 1030. If none of the above works, try using the “override elevation” feature. This feature is available to donors only, but it is a sure-fire way to get the exact elevation you need.
