First Moxy SMO2 field

Post by wbendus »

For some reason, my Garmin did not record power data for my workout last night. Fortunately, I was running Zwift, which did. When I look at the options to combine data fields, neither of the Moxy sensor data fields look to be available. The fields would be for "1st SmO2" and "1st THb", and they were custom fields brought in via Garmin IQ. I am simply looking to pull the power data from the Zwift session into the Garmin file...is this possible?

I have invested about 100 hours in making this happen. I’m on a backpacking trip now, but hope to get this feature out in a couple weeks.

Hey There - I'm getting close. Could you send me a FIT file for testing that has the desired data fields populated? You can upload to this forum, or you can email it to me using the contact form. Thanks.

OK, after 200+ hours of work and a lot of frustration, I have put a beta version of this tool up. If you upload a FIT file, you will see a checkbox that says, "ConnectIQ". You can check that box for each uploaded file you want to have the ConnectIQ data merged. The default behavior of the tool is to ignore the developer data because it can be very burdensome and slow down the tool for regular Strava users. This feature is in beta, so let me know how it works. Also, if you have it, I'd appreciate it if you could send me a sample file.

Hey there!

You will want to read this section:
viewtopic.php?t=186

The key is to check the “parse rarely used FIT fields” - then Gotoes will see your developer data. Once you do that, you should see the connectIQ checkbox for your streams. Check that box. Finally, be sure to export as FIT from GOTOES; only fit files can store these connectIQ fields. Does that fix it for you? If not, let me know

Yep i did use "parse files"

maybe if i can only select the data i want from Connect IQ , than be all selected?

When i try to see data (file fit viewer) , GOTOES .FIT file show " Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'fieldDefinitions')"

Sounds like you did everything right, and this is a bug I need t address. I have found that some source files have “illegal characters” that get messed up when being processed by GOTOES. I have written workarounds in the past, and when I get home in 1.5 weeks, I will address your files. Thanks for letting me know.
